Integral Philosophy

Tuesdays, Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb. 3, 10

Ages 10 - Teen, 2:00 - 3:00 pm
Fee: $150

How does the mind work?  What is the nature of Good and Evil?  Do other Dimensions and Parallel Universes exist?  These are only a few of the many questions to be probed in this Integral approach to traditional philosophy.  We will look at the history of philosophy in both the East and West, and through dialogue, exercises and activities, reexamine our assumptions about the world, the Universe, and ourselves.

About the Instructor

Matthew Paul Forcella has a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Religion from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and studied Anthropology as an undergraduate in New York where he was an Assistant Teacher.  He also lived in Phoenix for a year, working as a mentor and tutor for children with autism, as well as an artist.  His major philosophical areas of focus lie within the fields of Cosmology and Consciousness Studies.  He is particularly interested in the physics of light as it relates to the various religious and spiritual understandings of light, unity and compassionate action.
