Enrollment Options
Baywood Learning Center is unique in its ability to offer a variety of enrollment options including part time, full time,
a la carte enrichment classes, homestudy and concurrent college enrollment programs.
Available Programs for Academic Year 2008-2009
Full time Enrollment
Currently, we have 3 openings for gifted children in our 5-7 year old group; 4 openings in the 8-10 year
old group; and 4 openings in the 11-14 year old group. Children in these age groups work at individual and various grade levels,
some quite advanced. It is not unusual for a child to be several grade levels above in a particular subject while being
less advanced in other areas. For this reason we do not offer specific grade levels for same aged children.
Full-time enrollment is the traditional school hours of 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, five days per week except for holidays.
Part Time Enrollment
Baywood Learning Center offers half a half-time program Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 8:30 to 3:30.
The Next Step
The Next Step is an exciting new progam that helps teens and their families prepare for the transition
into college or the business world. This program is available as a part-time, full time or homestudy program through
Baywood Learning Center.

A la Carte Enrichment Classes
Homeschoolers and others are invited to join in these classes according to their interests. A variety of classes
are offered, some cover State Standards and some are University level experiences. Testing for gifted is not required
to take these classes, rather, we trust the parents to know if their child will be interested and ready for a specific
class or workshop.
